Hannah van Vijfeijken

Hannah van Vijfeijken is a Policy Engagement Officer at the Accelerate Research Hub, an Oxford & University of Cape Town initiative generating evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for adolescents across Eastern and Southern Africa. In this role, she facilitates strategy and stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of policy-facing projects, translating complex research into actionable recommendations for governments, NGOs, donors, and implementing organisations.

Hannah holds an MSc in Education from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Psychology from University College London. Her interests lie at the intersection of implementation strategy, behavioural insights and systems change, with a particular focus on how evidence can be structured and communicated to drive decision-making at scale. She has a background in programme leadership across the UK, Uganda, and Kenya, and is drawn to questions of how organisations design, resource, and sustain high-impact interventions in complex, resource-constrained environments.
