Research projects

DSPI is a multidisciplinary centre of excellence for research and the development and evaluation of social interventions in social policy.

Through our research projects, we are committed to informing social welfare policy. We have a significant impact on policy debate, formulation and implementation around the globe, as well as a secondary impact on people's wellbeing.

Key elements of our strategy to deliver international research excellence are:

  • building expertise by strategic recruitment and investment to develop research strengths;
  • emphasising methodological excellence and innovation at the macro and micro level;
  • engaging in international and collaborative research; and
  • strengthening our capacities in evaluation research and international comparative analysis.

You can find out more about our wide range of research projects in the sections below.
