Khadija Berrada
Khadija is a consultant at Technopolis Group, specialised in providing evidenced-based solutions in the field of science, technology, and innovation, involved in a broad range of evaluations and studies. Her work includes the UN Technology Bank flagship report on the State of Science, Technology, and Innovation in the Least Developed Countries (LDCs); and the European Open Sciences Cloud (EOSC) Digital Innovation Hub.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Khadija worked for two years for a Belgian company specialised in the conduct of impact evaluations in developing countries.
During this time, she worked on an evaluation aimed at assessing the impact of a programme promoting women's entrepreneurship in Morocco. This study used mixed methods with a randomised controlled trial and a quasi-experimental design.
Khadija has also worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist for the British Council on a project funded by the EU aimed at strengthening resilience of the youth in the Middle East and North Africa.
On studying at DSPI, she said: 'The MSc in Evidenced Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from 2017-2018 provided me with the qualitative and quantitative research methods that I apply daily to conduct various evaluations and studies.
Thanks to this course, I am familiar with a broad range of data collection tools (stakeholder consultations including interviews and online surveys, literature review) and analytical methods (logical framework analysis, case studies, portfolio analysis).'
